Aske Nordre Farm

At Aske Nordre, we continue the proud local traditions of fruit growing with our own apple juice production and farm shop located in the old barn.

Here you can buy seasonal fruit, vegetables, and potatoes, along with our handcrafted products made from apples and plums. We also offer products from other small-scale local producers.

Fruit farming has long traditions on Nes and Helgøya. In the 1950s, it was an important part of the local economy, but today only a few fruit growers remain. At Aske Nordre, we have preserved and further developed these traditions. Our orchards include apple and plum trees of different ages, and since 2006 we have processed our own fruit into products such as apple juice, apple cider, apple purée, plum juice, and plum jam.

The farm shop also sells eggs from our free-range hens, as well as products from other local suppliers.

Opening Hours
  • Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, from March through December
  • Additional Thursday opening hours from mid-September

We also offer private apple pressing, allowing visitors to turn apples from their own gardens into fresh juice and take home juice made from their own fruit.

The farm is beautifully located 2.5 km south of Stavsjø, with stunning views across Lake Mjøsa and the Toten region. Alongside apples and plums, we also produce eggs from 7,500 free-range hens and cultivate grain.

Small groups are welcome for guided tours of the production facilities and farm shop.
