I started Hannes Landhandel as a three-year trial project in 2024. My goal is to support local supply chains, create local business opportunities, and offer seasonal, locally produced goods at Nesvegen 747 in Stavsjø. I believe people miss food with roots and a clear origin.

At Hannes Landhandel, you’ll find chicken from Marianne at Hovelsrud, traditional Norwegian cheeses, butter, and cream from Monssveen, large cauliflowers from Even at Lønne, and lamb from Henriette and Martin at Doknes. One day, Kristian and Trine from Hovde asked if I wanted to sell Jersey milk, which brought in many new, younger customers. Then Peter from the neighborhood asked about selling sourdough bread—and people just love this concept!

But what I primarily create are experiences:

  • The experience of meaningful participation in building and maintaining a vibrant local community.
  • The experience of simple, quiet, and intimate moments—a contrast to the overwhelming pace of modern life.
