Accommodation in a Private House on a Lively Farmyard
Stay in your own house on a living farm—self-catering or bed & breakfast with made beds. This setup is especially well-suited for small groups (up to 12 people), friends, and extended families. You can stay for a short or longer period, making it an excellent base for exciting activities and discoveries in the Mjøsa region.
The farm also offers its own shoreline, a swimming area, and a small islet you can row out to. There are beautiful hiking opportunities in both flat and hilly terrain, and you can borrow a rowboat, canoe, or kayak.
The farm’s charming 18th-century main building is now used for farm accommodation. Each of the three floors has been converted into a rental unit with a kitchen, bathroom, TV lounge, and two bedrooms. The house has a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere, giving you a glimpse into the lives of previous generations on the farm through photos, books, furniture, and artifacts.
Nerlien Farm is located on the east side of the village in the heart of Mjøsa. Looking out over the fjord, you can see Brumunddal to the north and Hamar to the south. It’s easy to find us—E6 is just 7 km away, and once you turn off, just follow the signs. We are open year-round and welcome guests who have pre-booked or just drop by.
Nerlien Farm is owned and operated by Marte & Anders Røhnebæk and their daughters Birgitte, Julie, Mari, and Gine.
